I had pretty much given up on them, until a few months ago after being gluten and soy free for a year. Apparently my palate has changed, because now I absolutely love Sunshine Burgers and buy them often! Or maybe I just learned how to cook them properly and combine them with the right ingredients, because now when I make them for other people they love them as well.
My secret to Sunshine Burgers is cooking them just until they get warm, but not enough to dry out. Then, pair them with a sauce, spread or something soft like vegan mayo, ketchup, mustard, avocado, and/or vegan cheese. Then find the right bread - if you're gluten-free try anything by Food For Life - their GF english muffins make great burger buns and I also love their brown ricer wraps.
One of my favorite Sunshine Burger meals is to pair the SouthWestern burger with avocado, tomato, onion (cooked with burger), sprouts (or lettuce), and organic jalepeno sauce on a brown rice wrap. Yum!

Sunshine Burgers: Vegan, Organic, Gluten-Free, & Soy-Free!
The first time I had a Sunshine Burger was a few years ago and honestly, I really didn't like it. I wanted to, because they seemed much healthy than most vegan burgers - organic, gluten-free, and soy-free. But I disliked the taste and texture so much I left the box in my freezer for a while, until I pulled it out and gave it another try with the same reaction.
