While at Seattle VegFest I stumbled upon a rainbow colored stand that was passing out samples of a vegan non-dairy dessert. There were smiles on the entire staff's faces and I loved the vivid display, so I was excited to give a try. It turns out Heaven Sent is more than just pretty packaging - it's flavorful, fresh tasting, and creamy (reminds me a little of yogurt). However, the best part is that it's very simple and pure: it consists mainly of water, almonds, rice, and agave nectar. Better yet, it's soy-free and gluten-free, and mostly organic.

Amber, the beautiful founder, saw my pleased reaction and then spotted my camcorder - one thing lead to another and I ended up shooting a bunch of testimonials from other people at the festival who were just as wowed as me. Check out this video I compiled and I'm sure you'll be calling up your local grocery and demanding they carry it.

Heaven Sent is a new and small company, so the availability is limited (click here to see where you can buy it). However, if you demand it your grocer will want to supply it - so start demanding!
