Eco-Vegan Swag Bag!

Congrats to Bake Anything for winning this fabulous prize!
It was incredibly hard to pick a winner because of all of the great entries. Ultimately it came down to 2 and I had to toss a coin to choose, but Bake Anything is quite worthy of the win!
Hope to see some of you at WorldFest or in LA before I head up North.

By now you probably know that I'm moving to San Francisco - if you've been out of the loop check out my post here. In lieu of the upcoming move, I've been going through all my stuff and I discovered a ton of eco-vegan products, literature, and coupons I want to giveaway. And who better to receive all my eco-vegan swag that you, my faithful eco-vegan pals!

This bag is worth at least $50! Here are some of the great items inside:
  • Caviart (vegan caviar made from sea vegetables)
  • TONS of Vega samples in pretty much every flavor
  • Dairy-free protein drinks and mixes
  • John Joseph's Weapons of Mass Destruction (men's medium)
  • Berkeley Vegan Earth Day eco t-shirt (women's medium)
  • Reusable water bottle from Berkeley Vegan Earth Day
  • Gluten-free books (not all vegan, but lots of great info)
  • Earth Cinema Circle DVD
  • "Miracle Man" book
  • Coupons to establishments and companies in Los Angeles and nationally
  • Reusable bags with sayings like, "make love not trash" and "I am a natural bag" plus bags from cool companies like VEGA and Healthy Spot
  • Vegan literature, "Meet Your Meat" DVD, and stickers

Awesome stuff right?!

I'm super dooooper excited about it having Gluten free stuff too! I have never found someone (other than people on the internet) that are vegan and Gluten free. Im the only vegan I know haha I know vegetarians but that's it... so I rely on books/other resources to get by! :-)

Hi! Love this give-away! I eat a veganish diet and am always looking for new and inspiring products to help me on my journey. I'm most excited about the protein powders as I've been trying to find a tasty vegan one and have been having a hard time.

I would definitely put those reusable bags to use -- I kind of collect them! I would want to sample all the Vega packets, and I would probably share a lot of other stuff with my vegan group.

I would send the coupons to my vegan friend out in LA along with the shirts (I can't fit them but she can). She's an actress like me and could use the coupons to help save her money. The rest I'd keep to help my conversion to veganism.

I've started the shift to become vegan and am trying to find and collect brands, books, and items to make the final shift easier. I'm off meat and meat products, milk, and yogurt. Cheese is the last to go. This bag would really help give me the boost to make that jump. And the gluten-free products are so awesome since we just found out my sister has Celiac's and can't have gluten at all so it's been harder to shift from gluten in addition to becoming vegan. This would really help convince my sister it can be done and still be delicious! :D

Yay give-aways! if I were to get this bag, I would be most stoked about the food goodies. Its tough being a below poverty level vegan. I've been vegan for just over a year and have lost 35 pounds, bringing myself from "obese" to less than ten pounds shy of "normal" weight - which is something I have never been, currently weighing less now than I did when I was 15. I would probably share the gluten free books with a friend whose husband has Celiac disease and has dramatically changed her diet because of him. I would share the other informational goodies with those around me as people are always asking "What is a vegan?" Thank you for sharing! Love your blog :)

hey whitney!

i would love to win your bag for lots of reasons! first, winning is fun... but second, you were a key factor in my turning vegan over a year ago. you know how they say seeds can be planted unknowingly? my mister somehow linked to your vegan tour of los angeles's vegan eateries and left it up for me. after that, i kept returning for more tidbits from you, kept exploring your site and following your links, and then i just shifted over to a vegan lifestyle. so, to connect this back to your giveaway, (seeing as how i am an english teacher, and it's important to back up one's claims), i would love to have something from the person who's been such a source of positive inspiration for me. third, my mister, who is not vegan but is glutern free, would really benefit from the gluten free cookbooks. i could really go on forever!

anyway, i will definitely be at worldfest tomorrow, and your session is one i just will not miss!

ps--the bay area is fabulous! you'll be so happy there!

Lastly, I would want to keep the eco bags & share the goodies with my blog readers & friends. I know my mom could use some of the vegan literature, so she could better understand it & get healthier--for one example.

I would love this bag as I am transitioning to a vegan diet still and it sounds like this has some great resources to help me! I am in the Bay Area, so your new area!

I am not vegan but my tenant, Hooman from Alice Radio is. He takes a lot of flack on the radio for being vegan and would love to give him this gift of support and love! He has a huge generous heart and leaves radio swag on our doorstep for my 14 year old son. What better way to thank him than a bag of the stuff he likes and needs. We are in SF so could share the coupons with an LA vegan but would still like to be considered. Thanks and enjoy our city! It Rocks!

What I shall do with your awesome bag of goodies!
Organize a cosy potluck, share food with friends, watch Meet Your Meat, wear Earth day shirt, use gluten free recipe book to bake something brilliant and take lots of pictures! Maybe do a lucky draw that evening and see who picks out other coupons i dont need for myself. What's good if great things are not share?

I really enjoyed your Seed Kitchen review. They are amazing!

Email is bakeanything@gmail.com, live in Santa Monica and would love to meet you one day!

Hugs (:
