La Grande Orange vegan dinner by Citysearch

Citysearch LA had a vegan tasting dinner at La Grande Orange in Santa Monica. I had a wonderful time and was thrilled to finally try their food. I met some great people and enjoyed some fabulously fresh food and wine. A rep from L.G.O. told me, "All those options are on the menu regularly (both sushi rolls!) - the only thing that changes is the Farmers Market bite (cauliflower)"
Definitely check in with Citysearch for events like this in the future, and be sure to go to La Grande Orange for a nice lunch or romantic dinner!

um thanks for not giving your fellow vegans a heads up on this one! j/k ps go to Sushi Roku in SM and just walk back to the bar (not the sushi bar, but the bar bar), order a Kirin Light (beer) & a Harvest Roll. We do that weekly pretty much :) Its the best vegan sushi roll and it changes seasonally. I always say make sure its vegan, but I'm pretty sure it always is.

Um, I totally wrote about it on Twitter many times! But I don't think you're on Twitter...I think it was also on my calendar...Next time I'll write a post about it. ; )

Thanks for telling me about Sushi Roku - never been there!

Yah, can't believe I didn't get the word either, it's right down the street from us too. I've walked by there numerous times and even checked out the menu. It didn't seem very veg-friendly to me though.
It would be cool if we could all share a connected Google calendar, like HappyCow already shares with vegan-la.com, vegparadise, and a few other sites.

Let me know if you're open to the idea.

It would be great if you will standardize the events in your calendar like: {city}: Title
So this event would have been:
Santa Monica: Vegan dinner at La Grande Orange
About 10 people have access to the LA calendar you added. If you would like to join in and have all your events shared onto everyone else's website, there are a couple options:
1) Copy your events there each time you post
2) Add all your events there and make that your default calendar
If you choose the second option, you can still have your own calendar which is added in to that one when you display it on your site in order to share events with your visitors only.
Let me know what you decide as I'd be happy to have your posted events on HappyCow either way.
